Wedding Trend winter '12/13

Part one----- traditional saree-----------
Was thinking about changing Bridal's of Bangladesh ,one thing is catching me most that - are we loosing the simplicity of Bengali Culture ! Are we taking everything from every other culture and forgetting our own But gladly the girl who wears Pakistani styled gharara or a piece from any renowned Indi designer which are completely Punjabi styled( i secretly think Sabyasachi our own as his designs are so much Influenced from Bengali Culture they also wear a piece of Jamdani or a traditional which resemble our culture even if is a piece of kanjipuram the brides wear ! For me A piece of Traditional saree at your wedding is must Thing and i am so glad that recently i ve witnessed some of extraordinary brides who pulled it ravishingly ------ Some of my fav . . .
Get creative with the blouse with the dupatta you will be wearing , risk a little for god sake - keep it simple and finally my dear do not fear of experimenting in color when you are one wearing a traditional piece . . . & keep rocking & keep checking my blog brides ! my next blog is about designer Bridals ;) ----------------Samreen

~ I Admire ~

The big nakchabi , or the panja or the plain innocent bridal makeup on a bride i like about these bride is
1. Her Big Nak chabi and pure gold eyeshadow without glitter

2. the classic classic beni and moss green smoky eyes and the lil bindi on her forehead
and the forever traditional shada sari laal paar with twist of green dupatta.

3. her edgy traditional look .

4. her innocence her attire , jewels moreover the almost no makeup look on the bride
Remember if you are pretty enough Much makeup will only ruin your beauty coz for pretty girls always less is more.

5. Her harry Winston engagement ring with Very very Traditional panja , Perfect comb of classic Royalty meets modern royalty.

i ll come back again with more stuffs i see i like i admire .
love

( depend on your pocket it could be zirconia or rhinestone ;) ) but if you loaded some bling of Diamonds on Top of your head is just like suger shine over cake ! lets see some recent brides...

Wear a big one like late princess diana or a small one like Breakfast at Tiffany . . . Mukut haters Tiara is back just with a lil twist ;)

No Glitter please !

some days back i asked to my users "what kind of make up trend you want in Bridal season 11-12
mostly said neutrals with air brush makeup etc... etc.... i am highly addicted with magazines, Each and every kind of .I collect 3 different vogue from 3 countries and my counting is on i read everything i get . . . so my lil research says This year its Matte matte and matte foundation gloss & glitters are phew ! gone !!!! Its time to get play with shades various neutrals mixed with playful colors ,
lips will be Bright Fuchsia, orange, bright taupe,Iced matte Mocca -----Color of the year is Tangerine orange according to the Pantone Color Institute.

And finally matte Red is gone ! So this season if you want to play with RED try orangish Red or the one with rich darker pigment . i found some exotic south asian bridals pic wanna share it badly with you . I tried to add some Bangladeshi Bridals but collection were very few . . . hopefully i ll post some more in near future ---
Top 5 eye shadow : 1. grayish/silverish/skyish gray (matte) maybe a lil hint of glossy eye highlighter .
2. Pistachio green /Aquamarine
3.Various blending with pure golden with or without smokes
4.playful neutrals / including mixing of smokes
5.Purple ( both light and dark)

And lastly Most Important is your Happy face so smile baby ;)

Floral ornaments for gaye halud -

When we are talking about floral ornaments first of all i am highly addicted to baily ful er goina but due to continuous changes in bridal fashion, color palate even Halud attire ,we have to be more creative need more variation , now a days when i want to write floral i really can't help myself but ve to put words like fake beads ,fake pearls etc etc....

we often fail to capture the rawness of our own traditional halud ,which is full of yellow /bashanti toned color its full of freshness of flower its always SAREE for me. Though now a days we wore more attire like lehenga , suits, and various pattern of saree . . . whatever you are wearing always keep in mind Gaye halud -- this event is all about freshness, flawless smile and happy relative around you. NEVER NEVER over done it ,it ll just ruin the mani essence of gaye halud you wanna do experiment ? Go on do it in your Mehendi or sangeet but Gaye halud wear minimum makeup , Light attire ( specially pretty traditional saree) ,try and mix and match materials in your fresh flower jewellery Voila you are queen of the crowd ;)

Just dnt over do it !

These type of floral ornaments are really in this season -----
advice---
~try to avoid the RED -yellow fake ornaments ( at least this season )
~Avoid Gerbara flower for ornaments its really not in this season .
~Experiment with various type of flowers ,roam around the flower market pick up the fresh ones , different one ,There is no need to make ornaments with on going flowers.
~Put lots lots of fresh flower on your Khopa/ beni what ever you are doing

And always remember This is your day at the end you are the boss ;)

Nail Matters

I ve seen so many brides to be or bride herself with undone nails , in our wedding time we keep our self so busy that sometimes some of us can might forget the lil details which matter ----
now you will ask are you kidding NAILS !!! oh yes nails it does matter, if you ask me when my answe ll be -- during ring ceremony during small cliches of of wedding such as shah nazar ,welcome, bidai even during dinner time it can be focused by photographers .That time i am sure you do not want your undone nails with cheap random nail polish from parlor.its simple choose what do you want .Now a days lots of nail stuffs going on --- Crazy colors, Classy french , Crackle, Nail art ,and my all time fav red nails for bride -- though now a days i am addicted with turquoise & french manicured nails with big shiny sparkle . My personal fav would be Sally Hansen anything from this brand .This autumn and upcoming winter Pumpkin orange , deep magenta, turquoise are very in.But again For a bride choose something timeless but in other small occasions you can try and mix match something else . . .

Keep Rocking ---
